Marbella, September 8th 2021 – Club Med, the pioneer of the all-inclusive concept, announced today its return to Spain after over 20 years, with its new resort, Club Med Magna Marbella, which, in addition, is the first luxury tourist Resort on national soil. The property, which will be nestled at the foot of the Sierra Blanca Mountains, will open its doors to guests on May 14, 2022.
This opening is the result of a collaboration agreement between Club Med and Magna Hotels and Resorts, which includes one of the largest initial investments made in recent years on the Costa del Sol.
Magna Marbella will be in an unparalleled natural environment, less than 10 minutes from the two main beaches of Marbella -La Fontanilla and Playa de Venus-, the Marina and the city center. A spectacular enclave, surrounded by golf courses, the La Cañada Shopping Center and the Starlite showground, among others.
Club Med Magna Marbella boasts 14 hectares of lush garden, five swimming pools including a family waterpark and adult-only Zen Zone, two restaurants open 24 hours a day with an extensive national and international menu -Sueños and Tierra Gourmet Lounge-, and three themed bars for guests to sample local food and beverages.
The resort will also offer the best children’s clubs ‘made in Club Med’ for ages 4 months to 17 years, where children will be able to enjoy artistic and cultural activities inspired by Andalusia. The Family Fun Zone will feature water games, a playground and mini golf. Magna Marbella will offer a wide range of activities, including golf, archery, flying trapeze, etc. In addition, Club Med Magna Marbella will be “the king of the racquet”, with ten tennis courts and six paddle courts available within the enclosure with their respective schools and a large team of teachers and monitors.
For those looking to relax and unwind, Club Med has provided a wellness area with 14 treatment rooms, including a double indoor-outdoor relaxation room and steam bath, as well as Spa by CINQ MONDES treatments. Guests can also enjoy fresh fruit juices at the Sierra Blanca bar at the adults-only Zen pool.
