Güey restaurant celebrates its opening with friends

Marbella, 11th of July 2018 – Last night the restaurant Güey, on la Plaza de las Orquídeas celebrated its inauguration with a cocktail party for 250 friends. The return of Güey has been eagerly anticipated by its loyal clientele and locals who were all delighted to attend the opening of this much-loved restaurant where they can once more enjoy dining under the stars on one of its picturesque terraces.
On Thursday 12th of July, Güey will be opening its doors to the public so that guests can enjoy balmy summer nights in the gorgeous garden.
As part of a family-run venture and labour of love, Güey is being reopened by Ramón Carbajosa with a mission to serve local, seasonal and organic produce every night. The new Güey has sourced the finest producers in the region; from its locally grown avocados to its Coin-grown, organic tomatoes and sublime Malaga goats’ cheeses – the foodie family are intent on showcasing the best flavours of the province of Malaga with an exciting, international menu with a distinct nod to Latin America as inspired by the restaurant´s Mexican name “Güey”.
Boasting culinary influences from Mexico and Peru with dishes like ceviche, quesadillas and tiradito, Güey also sources exquisite ham from Aracena and of course, the Almadraba tuna from Cádiz. The menu will be seasonal, based on the quality of local organic produce, and in winter, Guëy offers a delightfully cosy spot for holding up on chilly nights with its log burning fire.
